George Lucas couldn’t find a movie studio that would make Star Wars. The Beatles were turned down by nearly every record label. Some tales like these also find their roots in IIT Kharagpur. The gauntlet that is fundraising sees only profit or predictability, instead of art or passion or talent or an incredible story of inspiration.
We aim to build a platform for the students of IIT Kharagpur, where students can float their project ideas, both small and big and interested alums can both fund and mentor the project to make it come to life. It’s a simple way to discover that we can offer each other value through creation without a middleman dictating the product and terms.
